We are thrilled to welcome Lavandula to our ResiFest! lineup! They will be performing on the large stage at 5:55 pm, September 16th at Pastime Park in Plain City. Here is their bio, and the reason they are excited to participate in a festival supporting mental health resilience.
"Our band "Lavandula" was formed in Athens, OH. We consist of 5 college friends: Landon Elliott (lead guitar),
Wyatt Fratianne (drums), Isaac King (bass guitar, backing vocals), Joey Negrete (lead vocals, guitar), and Zach Winkleman (keys, guitar). We have a wide range of listeners with our unique blend of an indie rock sound, catchy & memorable original songwriting, and a chill vibe. Within the last year we have released 2 songs, won ACRN Battle of The Bands, and played over 15 shows around Ohio.
Not only are we 5 bandmates that go to college together, we are also best friends that live together. College is a fun 4 years of your life but also very stressful. We have stuck by each other's side when school and life in general just get tough. We believe that music brings not only the listeners together but the players as well. We think that this festival brings two great things together, music & community and think this is the perfect event for us. We have also played a few benefit shows in Athens supporting places like The Gathering Place, Stuart's Opera House After school Music Program & Athens County Humane Society."
